Welcome to Boreham Parish Council

Boreham village lies between Chelmsford City and Hatfield Peverel village.  It is a thriving community with a population of just over 5000. Boreham Village has a Village Hall, two recreation grounds, a parade of shops, hairdressers and barbers, post office, a primary school, a doctor’s surgery, together with several other shops including a fine butchers shop, a gun shop and three public houses. Boreham benefits from numerous community groups and activities for all ages.

Boreham Parish is mostly used for cereal farming although there are a few woods and an Osier bed.  A stream skirts the Village and flows into the Chelmer River. There are some fine walks in the countryside immediately outside the village some of which provide links to North Springfield, Little Baddow and Hatfield Peverel.

Boreham Parish Council represents the interests of the people living in and around the Village of Boreham. Parishioners are very welcome to attend any of the Parish Council Meetings held throughout the year.
