Parish Walk to Toppinghoehall Wood Sunday 24th July 2016
On a very sunny and warm Sunday, 39 Parishioners (including 6 week old twin girls and several dogs) set off on a Parish Walk following Route 4 from the Footpath Leaflet lead by Chris Andrew, our Footpaths Officer, supported by Sue Howlett of St Andrews Church, Suzanne Harris, Greens Committee Chairman, and Jackie, Daniela and Lester from the Parish Council Office.
After a short walk along Waltham Road, we turned into Chantry Lane, making our way to the very edge of the parish boundary and onto Toppinghoe Hall. After a short break, we made our way into ToppinghoeHall Wood – a very peaceful and green walk. We returned to Boreham Village Hall where John Galley (Parish Council Chairman) had a large quantity of tea and coffee ready for tired walkers.
Thank you to everyone who came along and we look forward to more of you joining us on the next walk later in the year.
