Boreham Parish Council are delighted to be a recipient of Tesco’s #BagsofHelp initiative. Approximately 5,000 applications for the scheme were received and 1,200 projects were awarded grants. Only projects with the strongest fit with the programme criteria and outcomes were selected. Our Outside Gym project along with the other two successful projects in our region will go to a public vote in Tesco stores with the customers deciding the outcome. The project with the highest public vote will receive £12,000, the second placed project £10,000 and the third placed project £8,000.
The public will be able to vote for their favourite project in their local Tesco stores from Saturday 27th February 2016 until Sunday 6th March 2016. We will notified by the end of March to confirm the amount of our grant award. Suggestions for equipment will be available to view at the Parish Meeting being held on 28th April 2016.
Please visit your local store and help make a difference in your community.
Bags of Help offers community groups and projects in each of Tesco’s 390 regions across the
